2 about genesis 2:16-17
this is just for discussion
Genesis 1:16-17
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
what would be a consequence if Satan had waited to manipulate Adam and Eve into disobeying God until there were kids? would the kids be guilty even if Satan had not manipulated them into eating the forbidden fruit?
is it rational to wonder if God planned for Adam and Eve to spring the trap that He set, so He could offer salvation to them? in order for the salvation plan to work, wouldn't the couple had to disobey and eat fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil? is there any point in sending a savior if nobody ate any of that fruit? Didn't God know what was going on all along?
any discussion?
