57 Border Issues
Comments related to imaginary lines
Closed borders are a feature of tyrannies.
When I started with social media in 2004, I never saw folks sniveling about borders, or so-called illegal aliens/immigrants.
Sometime along the line, I started seeing folks snivel about "unauthorised visitors". I saw posts defining "unauthorised visitors" as folks without printed birth records, or driver licenses, or state-issued identification cards, or passports, or social security cards.
I don't have a printed birth record. I left that with my late mom when I move out in 1977. There is no established law prohibiting me from not carrying a printed birth record.
The California driver license that I have is not identification or proof of legal presence. There is a statement on the back of the card to that effect. Folks pretend that it is identification. There is no established law prohibiting me from not carrying a driver license unless I am operating a motor vehicle in accordance with the California Vehicle Code.
I do not have a passport. There is no established law prohibiting me from not carrying a passport.
Social Security cards are not identification or proof of legal presence. There is no established law prohibiting me from not carrying a Social Security card.
By the definition immigration snivelers offer for "unauthorised visitors" I am an "unauthorised visitor".
I see entities saying that they have no problem with checkpoints. These entities fail to admit that eventually immigration code enforcers will come for them.
